My husband and I spent 4 nights here while we were in town visiting family. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a nice small patio out to the side of the house. The windows and door let in a lot of natural light and we were able to keep the window open as this villa is in a very quiet neighborhood. The breakfast area was simply beautiful, a cheery room lined with windows overlooking the yard. The breakfast choices were beautifully presented and bountiful. Probably the best of all our stays in other locations throughout Germany. We were fortunate to have a great parking spot right out front on the street however on certain days the streets are cleaned so cars must be moved by early morning. We only encountered this on one day and we simply parked on another street the night before.
Overall this was a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend it. The owners were delightful but were limited in their ability to speak English. But we are in their country so for us it was not an issue and we did the best we could.

We spent one night at Villa am Schlosspark this August. Really convenient location off of the Autobahn. My wife, 2 kids ages 9 and 11, and I stayed in one of the apartments. It was very quiet and cozy, beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was very nicely presented, with a typical German spread of sliced meats, bread, and cheese, muesli, plus very tasty coffee. We flew into Munich that morning and had one night in the city to get adjusted to European time before we headed South into Switzerland. It was perfect - less than 10 minutes from the S-Bahn, and a 5 minute walk to a great Greek restaurant called Taverna Naxos. Munich is a large, modern city and it was so nice to stay in a quiet suburb away from the busy city and crazy tourist traffic

We stayed here for 4 nights. The room was bright, airy, comfortable & clean. The breakfast was something I looked forward to each day (good quality and lots of choice) and to be able to eat outside in the sunshine was a real treat.
The owners were super friendly and helpful with any questions we asked.
The location is great for the Botanic Gardens and Nymphenburg Palace - you're within walking distance & having the train station 5 minutes away (if that) was a big bonus.
The Greek restaurant just around the corner is great.
I have nothing but praise for Villa am Schlosspark - I wish we could have stayed longer.

Family run. With lovely rooms, garden and fab breakfast. Spacious room with quite idyllic garden outlook. Plenty of street parking in what appeared to be quite a nice suburb. 5 mins to trains. Residential so less access to restaurants but I'd imagine you'd be eating before returning anyway.

The hotel is a 7 minute walk from Obermenzing station ( S-Bahn line #2 final train destination Petershausen, about 12 minutes from the central station). The hotel is in a residential area and therefore quiet but easily reached from the city centre or airport. It is a comfortable hotel with a good breakfast and a very helpful owner who remains very unobtrusive. I spent a week here and valued the convenience of the location, the quietness and would recommend this hotel for anyone seeking some peace and to avoid the classic multinational chain hotels. There is also no-restriction on-street parking in the area. There are shops and supermarkets around the station area.

We stayed only one night at Villa am Schlosspark B&B as a family of 5 in 2 separate rooms in July. It is outside of Munich in a quiet area, but the metro into Munich is within a 10 minute walking distance. There are restaurants locally we noticed, but we wanted to experience Munich at night. The breakfast they provide is exceptional, and the nicely decorated rooms are clean, comfortable with all the amenities including internet to make you feel at home. There is parking available on the street. We had driven many miles in one day, and we were tired, but we wanted to stop to visit Dachau before arriving at Villa am Schlosspark about 6 pm. Because travelers often don't have the means (cell phone, internet) in order to let a B&B know exactly when they will arrive, it must be difficult for owners of these small establishments to always provide a warm reception irregardless.
