The hotel is in a perfect location, so central that you can walk anywhere actually. It's just in front of a great food market, and other nice restaurants. The gay erea is also close with nice bars and cafes. The room was small but has everything including a small kitchen with espresso machine. We didn't get a room with a view but it was ok facing the inner yard. The service was ok, some guys at the front desk where more helpful then others. Beds are a bit strange with inflatable parts, but we survived. Breakfast was delicious

The hotel itself is ok... It's what I expected from a budget/lower end hotel or 3 star hotel- but the prices were higher due to demand. We didn't spend much time in the room because we went on tours and went to Oktoberfest and the room wasn't a place I would spend a lot of time. It was fine but very basic. It was clean and had all the necessities but nothing special. The price for breakfast seemed high when there are so many great little cafes close by where you can get food and coffee for much less. Beware- they are currently experiencing some noise issues due to the construction next door. If you are not an early riser you may want to consider this before you book. If we come back to Oktoberfest again I would stay here again.

Stayed 3 nights here. Great location close to the underground and Oktoberfest grounds.
Construction basically on both sides of the hotel right now and no ac.( very noisy and hot at night.)
Was fairly clean and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Might look around and book a little further out next time maybe around old town of poss.

We stayed here with a group during Oktoberfest and couldn't have asked for better. Our room was very clean and modern and the staff was very nice. The location isn't ideal for Marienplatz/center city but it's PERFECT for Oktoberfest and access to the HBF. Construction next door started at 730 am on weekdays which was unfortunate but otherwise the hotel was almost perfect for our Munich trip.

The staff are really helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help, and the hotel is in an excellent location for the Theresiehwiese U Bahn station and the Oktober fest.

The hotel does not have air conditioning, so you need to have the window open if you don’t want a stuffy room. Unfortunately this means that, on the lower levels you can get some street noise. Also there is some building work going on in the street (September 2016) which is very loud and starts at around 7am. Obviously this work is out of the control of the hotel, and outside of warm weather there may not be a need to have the windows open, I should imagine during the winter this would not be an issue.

As a result of the above, we asked if we could move from a street facing room to an inside room and, despite the hotel being very busy, the staff were able to do this with no fuss despite the fact it must have caused them a degree of extra work.

The rooms have fridges, which is very useful. The first room we were in had a microwave and a hot plate, however no cups, plates or cutlery to go with these facilities, I presume these would have been provided if requested at reception.

When I return to Munich I will consider this hotel again.

Room Tip: Check if the building work next door has finished, if not, ask for a room not overlooking Landwehrstraße.
