Only minutes walk from the train station and a short walk from the centre of Munich. Hotel Munich Inn is a low budget no frills hotel. Perfect for anyone looking for somewhere cheap to put their head down. Excellent breakfast too.

I have booked a room for three nights and was facing VISA problem .The day i booked room i wanted to upgrade it to the refundable one. Thus,I requested several times to either upgrade it or deduct partial amount .I requested booking.com as well as the hotel staff but all in vain. They will not listen to you at all even if it is a matter for few euros.

I have visited Munich several times and have never encountered such a unfriendly staff.Even if you come up with an urgency and you are not able to make it they will deduct 95% . if you have to stay in Munich choose some other hotel and don't spoil your vacations.

Worst experience ever.

Despite reading the less than stellar reviews of this hotel, we booked a room because it wasn't going to blow our budget to stay here during Oktoberfest. The reveiws are right; this isn't a great hotel. Our room was basically three beds that slept four people and a bathroom. There was a somewhat unpleaant, but not overwhelming odor that was present throughout our stay. It is the epitome of cheap & no-frills...just a place to sleep; don't plan on spending much time in the room. That being said, we stayed here during Oktoberfest and the price & location made it attractive.

The price & location for Oktoberfest are the reason I gave this an "average" rating. If we had stayed at this hotel during any other time of the year, the rating would be in the "poor" category.

Only the location - close to the Munich Hauptbahnhof - and the price recommend this hotel. Otherwise it is noisy, cramped with zero amenities.

I spend only two nights in this hotel and I was absolutly satisfied for money I paid. The hotel is vey near to main railway station (200 m) and very simple. The staff are friendly and ready to help you. Breakfast was really good. You could choose among many different breads, cheese, sussage, yoghourt and .... Really good breakfast for a 3 star hotel. The only problem was its small room. You can barely move in your room without being hited to bed, wall or your partner!!. Bathroom was newly renovated and absolutely clean. The room also had free High speed Internet connection

The pros:

We arrived at this hotel @ 6am. The nightstaff (male) was nice enough to give us our room (and include breaky). Breakfast was fantastic and had a wide variety to choose from.

The location of the hotel was within walking distance from the main station, which was handy.

The cons:

Our room was on the 2nd floor in the building next door. The lift was slow, small and unreliable.

I had booked the room for 2 adults and 2 children. Only the queen bed and 1 single bed was made up. My son went down to reception to organise for some bedding. Eventually they sent up one doona cover (no pillow). He slept inside the doona cover (as there was no bottom sheet).

The next morning, housekeeping knocked on our door (there is no 'do not disturb' sign). They argued with me and said that the booking was only for 2 adults and 1 child. Eventually they made up my son's bed (but without a pillow case!).

The hotel was extremely hot and stuffy (as there is no air conditioning). Only one window opened and when it was open, it was so noisy, you could not sleep. We were above a casino. It felt like we were sleeping in the street. There were several 'adult only' bookshops around too.

The walls needed a good wipedown and a paint. They were badly marked.

The hotel did not have any fans.

Wifi was expensive @ $5.00 per day (most other places we stayed in Europe, wifi was free).

I would have to say, that this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

A nice cheap modern hotel, with basic amenities in the room, but a great location for all that is going on around the City of Munich. The train station is just a 2 minute walk from the hotel. There is a discount rate of €15 per day for secure parking just around the corner from the hotel. Breakfast is basic, but looked OK, we didn't take the breakfast just coffee.
