Everything was perfect. Very polite staff, great room and bathroom. All was very clean, very good positioning close to the central station. Very easy to reach Marienplatz and Hofbrauhaus. Luggage can be left for free after the check-out time at the hotel reception. Definitely the best ratio of quality accommodation in Munich. We will surely come back here with great pleasure.

We arrived 6:30 in the morning, as our train arrived real early.

Something I do not like at all is that our passport and our creditcard gets uploaded to their computer. You can't deny them uploading it a copy or an email of us should've been enough.

As I was food poisoned we asked if it was possible to check in early, it wasnt. We should check in around 15:00.

Around 9 we called the hotel again, as I wasn't feeling great at all. We were asking if we could get the room which has been cleaned as first. the lady on the phone(not the receptionist) told us we can check in at 10. We went directly to the hotel and asked if we could get the keys for our room. The receptionist didn't know about it and told us we couldn't get the room.

My girlfriend told the receptionist once again that I was sick, and that that the women on the phone promised us a room.

Finally she called someone, and there magically was a room left. Following the receptionist, not cleaned. But It was.

After all, she made some effort, but not with a pleasure.

Next morning, someone opened our room while we were sleeping. 8am in the morning. Come on, this can not happen.

Also its 2017, we still have to pay 4 bucks for 24 hr wifi?

Dear JgrootDe22,
thank you very much for your review. We're sorry for any inconveniences before getting your room. Normally a check-in is possible at 4pm. It's no problem to get free Wifi in our house. Please ask our staff before your next booking. We would be happy to welcome you again soon.
Yours sincerely,
Hotel Dolomit Team

A basic hotel with small rooms (especially for three of us) and it was very hot perhaps due to the hot summer. No air conditioning. The beds were very low and uncomfortable. The toilet and the shower are fine. The plus point of this property is the proximity which is just across the Munich central train station and also walkable distance to Marienplatz. The front desk staffs are good and helpful especially one Mr.Ivan his public relation skills are excellent.

Hotel located very close to main train station. Quite a noisy area.
The rooms are dated and the beds are atrocious. We would have marks from the springs in the bed when we woke up in the morning.
The bathroom smells and it looks like it's a bathroom out of a cruise ship cabin.
No free wifi, you have to pay for it ... Really?! In this day and age ...
There is a plaque in the lobby commemorating the hotel has been open 100 years. Yes, 100 years and it seems no refurbishments.
We also had the do not disturb sign on our door yet someone knocked in the morning waking us up.

The only positive is the friendly staff.
But will not forget that bed!!

Most uncomfortable bed we've ever experienced.

Their photos do not show the solo rooms because they are tiny. The rooms are hot during the summer as there is no air conditioning. There is an additional €4 per day charge for Wifi. Despite what the front desk tells you, the cable TV does not have English channels. The location is convenient as it is close to the train station, but there are dozens of hotels in the area that must be better.

Room tip: Check out the nearby hotels.
