This main palace of the dukes and kings of Bavaria lets you see just how wealthy and powerful they actually were. The furnishings and paintings are amazing. The audio guide is included in the price, but like many of these it tells you too much about some things and nothing about the ones you were really interested in. I think there was very little English signage but can't really remember. The indication of your route through the building is very poor - it consists entirely of little red arrows on wire poles, which might be OK if you didn't have to go through some rooms twice with no indication of which arrow to take each time.
This is a really, really big palace and it is a long walk through it with no indication of how to cut it short if you get tired or want out. Oh and you can't even get into everything just now because they are doing some upgrades.
