This restaurant features itself as the only vegan restaurant in Munich.
The design is modern, not extremely comfortable seating but this is the least of its problems.
I came at lunch time. There were a few soups on the menu, and a curry dish with vegetables and chickpeas and brown rice. I didn't want soup so ordered the curry dish, hoping to get a pile of rice and vegetables. A huge bowl of soup came, with a few balls of chickpeas and 3-4 sweet potatoes cubes floating around. It was mostly water, that is, a soup! The small bowl of rice as a side dish was ok, but just plain rice.
This was one of the Tagesmenu dishes, that is dish of the day. Despite this, I had to wait 45 (!) minutes for it to come, even though the restaurant was half empty when I arrived.
It is not a place for a quick lunch, neither is it a nice place to sit for a long time and enjoy a gourmet meal. It is over-priced (I paid €16 for this dish and a cup of tea), the food is not that great, the selection is small and the service is extremely slow. I didn't wait for the bill, just got up and paid at the cashier as had to go back to work, after over an hour.
If you like this kind of food, a far better place is Grenzstein in Elisabethmarkt, Schwabing. Good food, self-service and half the price.
