On a glorious spring evening four of us happened upon Lithos. We had our fill of Schnitzel over the last days and were looking for something different. Lithos is in a quiet neighborhood near the Stilberstrasse U2 stop - it isn't near the city center, but if you happen to be in the neighborhood or want a good value - this is the place. It is very family friendly. The staff doted on the kids, some very young, that were dining the night we were there. It is a small place - a few tables cozily inside and cafe tables outside which we enjoyed the fine evening we ate there. If you are looking for a hopping, happening bar scene - this isn't the place! Clearly the staff knew many of the other diners as "regulars". Eating outside this was "family Greek". Great, simple food served fresh, hot and well. They have a good beer and spirits selection and snappy service. We had some traditionals of souvalki and gyros with excellent salad sides and chips. The lamb was done perfectly skewered with zucchini/cougette. The hit, though, was the baklava. It tasted homemade with a side of vanilla ice cream and chocolate drizzle. Perfect. I found this place yummy and will certainly return.
