My wife and I booked the Private City immersion (Gold) Tour on our first day in Munich and we're so glad that we did. The tour started in the city centre and eventually made it's way to Dachau concentration camp. We loved this tour because of the personal nature of it and rather than being on a tour bus, we walked and used the public transit system. True immersion! The city portion was packed with interesting facts and information (both historical and current), great food, delicious schnapps and some of the best beer we've ever had. By the time we were done, we felt as if we had been in Munich for a week. Ozzie has the unique talent to use current culture references to explain the vast history of the area and events in a way that allows you to absorb much more than one normally could in a very short time. He also has a effervescent personality that keeps you engaged and makes you feel the true passion for what he does so well.
