I had an absolutely amazing time on this tour. I must admit my history knowledge was very limited. However, after spending 4hrs walking around this wonderful city with Ozzie and other tourists, I wished we had longer. Ozzie gave an in-depth account of past and present facts. He was able to deliver it in such a way that it didn't feel like a history lesson. Since the tour, I have recommended it to many of my Australian friends whom have also enjoyed it just as much. He makes you feel very welcome and interacts with the group on all levels. A must do if you go to Munich.
Ozzie was the absolute best tour our group could've asked for. He completely immersed us in the Bavarian culture and was so personable with each and every one of us. I could not imagine going to Munich without meeting Ozzie. He was so much more than a tour guide to us and truly became our friend during our time together.

I could not recommend this tour more! You get an idea about local life that is detailed and personal. I was on the tour with 8 others and the pacing of the 3 1/2 - 4 hour tour was brilliant. We learned of Munich's rich history, both good and bad, stopped for beer and bratwurst and his way of managing the group was such that each of us felt very connected by the end of the tour (so much so that all of us hung out for the rest of the weekend and I'm travelling with my now girlfriend I met on the tour). A fantastic experience and well worth the money compared to the quality of other "free" walking tours.
I thought that this tour was very unique, insightful, and gave an experience that other tour companies lack. Not only was Ozzie entertaining and knowledgeable, but he took us to small local businesses so that we could have a better understanding of what the locals are like. There was great food, drinks, and company to make for an entertaining day.
