“Happy with it, did its job”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 2, 2014

I chose this hotel for my business partners and myself due to its proximity to the main station as well as the city center, plus the booking was really swift and they gave us a good group discount. The contact with the hotel was therefore excellent.

The hotel is located 5 minutes away from the station; the area is a little dodgy (which is not the hotel's fault, obviously). It belongs to the spanish Eurostars group, and they obviously tried to give to the hotel a little artistic touch by mentioning great authors on the walls. The decor is minimalistic and functional, a bit cold in fact, but I think the hotel will not age well - the carpet on my floor was stained and the door seemed quite thin, I heard every person walking by.

The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom came with a nice tropical shower. There was a desk with coffee and tea amenities. I felt comfortable in the room.

I'd like to mention the breakfast which was good with a big choice.

Minus point: I stayed there two nights and I had to go to the reception twice during my stay because my room card didn't work anymore - and twice I had to show my identity card.

I would book this hotel again.

Unusual design for a luxury hotel. Very modern and at first it appears cold. But it grows on you quickly. Very clean, nice rooms and bathrooms. Very bright and inviting breakfast area with an outstanding selection of freshly prepared food.

The location is not the best, rather seedy with "Casinos" and sex shop aplenty. But that is what you get near the central train station in most European cities together with very inconvenient parking. But still, highly recommended!

We stayed here for 3 nights, and when we checked in to our "nonsmoking" room, we walked into a cloud of smoke. We immediately called down to the desk, and they had an attitude about it ("That's not possible because it is a nonsmoking room") but told us it would be fine to change rooms. We went downstairs and they were so rude and told us it was "lady's perfume" that we must have smelled. For the next 3 days, everything was an inconvenience to them- they were rude when we asked for a map, couldn't help us find anything etc. The only reason I'm giving 2/5 is because the new room was clean and nice - even though the shower floods the rest of the bathroom. Would not stay here again.

What a great hotel!! We stayed in Munich for 4 days and this hotel was so great! The staff are crazy nice!! They made reservations for us and helped us with transportation and sight seeing advice. The rooms are really modern and cool looking. There were only 2 pillows when we arrived, but they sent some extra ones up quickly. The neighborhood is interesting. On one side I felt like I was in a shady, somewhat adult area with lots of gambling and nudie stores, but the other side was really sheek and nice...so we just made sure to go down that street instead! :)

Really close to the main train station, too! Overall wonderful hotel! If I come back to Munich, I will stay here again!

A very comfortable hotel. Nice rooms. There were only 2 pillows however there was no issue for them to send 2 more. They also had a great pool and sauna although we only used it once (since we were out most of the time). The hotel is easily accessible to public transport (the tram station is right in front of the hotel and the train to the airport is a short 10 minute walk). The public transport system in Munich is fantastic and cheap!

Hotel room was clean and comfortable. If you are traveling with a friend, the 'no bathroom door' may be an issue (they do have a sliding glass door). All in all, we were very happy with our stay there.
Food wise, there is a small shopping centre 10 minutes away which has a supermarket, pharmacy and halal food outlet.

Room Tip: Request a room away from the streets.

We stayed at this hotel on our European trip, and it was one of our favourites! The hotel was very clean and tidy, and looked very new. The service at the reception was very good, with the staff accommodating our requests with good humour. The room was very impressive, with a very comfortable bed, new bathrooms (and a cool shower!). Would stay again.

Pros:
- Convenient (walking distance to Hauptbahnhof)
- Clean and tidy
- Very flash room
- New
- Friendly staff

Cons:
- Sometimes expensive (weren't able to stay here on our first visit due to price)
- Quirky design may not appeal to all
