We wholeheartedly agree with the many 5 star reviews about the great: location, breakfast buffet, spare but extreme but comfortable functionality of the rooms, and cleanliness. Well done!
Specific points:
- we wanted one room for 3 but after our visit understand now that we had to go with double and single (for our son). price was still very reasonable.
- breakfast buffet staff can get busy so you have to be pro-active to get their attention which resulted in them taking great care of your food orders with enthusiasm.
- we visited during a hot spell and windows had to be open as no air conditioning so it can get a bit noisy if restaurant and traffic noise might bother you. A visit in colder weather would be no problem.
- staff provided fans. we were skeptical but they actually helped a lot to make rooms more comfortable at night.
- when an early morning visit on checkout day took longer than expected the desk clerk most graciously let us check out a bit later. A phone call was made to arrange that and appreciated by all.

We would gladly return in our next visit to Munich.

We had a shared bathroom suite. I was a little worried since I had never done that before but I never had a any trouble. I loved being in the heart of Marianplatz and only 1 block away from the train too!

Great positive surprise! The hotel is located in the city center and is really nice. It looks it recently went through some renovation: although small, my room was nice, well decorated and quite.
Breakfast was great: lots of choices, very good quality!
