Excellent design: in the lobby, the breakfast restaurant, the fitness and the rooms. Excellent service everywhere. Smooth check-in and check-out, extremely good breakfast. Quiet room. Excellent bed. A weird but appealing open bathroom in the bedroom. Very good free wifi. I was offered a free drink but did not use it so I can't comment on the bar or the restaurant but the bar looked fantastic. Room service was okay in terms of price but one of my meals was lukewarm at best when it arrived in the room. No big deal but for the price you pay, it should at least be hot. Next to the main central station so easy connections to a wide variety of destinations.

Great place to spend time in Munich. Beautiful and comfortable rooms, with beds that you don't want to leave:) lack of light, whole hotel is rather dark but it has its own style, you may like it or not.

I really enjoyed my 5 night stay at Sofitel Munich Bayerpost. I found the room to be immaculately clean, and serviced perfectly every day. The in room Nespresso machine is a pleasant touch, as was the Bose sound system and iPod dock, which was for an older iPhone than mine, it was easily sorted with the headphone jack. The wardrobe is a little small for a 5 day trip.

Breakfast was exceptionally good. Good food variety, good quality, great staff and nice surroundings.

WiFi coverage was fine everywhere in the hotel. I used the complimentary service and it was fine for VoIP, email and I even streamed a video for around an hour with no problems.

My trip was for business, and the location next to the rail station is perfect to get around the city. I liked the ambience and relaxing style of the hotel so much that I will be returning with my wife early next year to use it as a base to explore Munich further.
