The room is new locatiob is perfect near train staion so you can connect to other europian cities and 10 min walk to shopping street amenities in room is very high end they give hermes little soap amd shampoo only downsize is no english speaking channel on tv

Room is nice - very comfortable bed - small but ok .............the floors are wooden and from 6am I have heard foot steps above and beside me - and furniture moving again from rooms beside me and above (if I move the desk chair I make the noise too !) They should fit carpets in this hotel if you want a quiet night - for the money this is disappointing feature - I am only here for 2 days on business but wanted to alert folk to this rather annoying feature............the Wall also shook when the Maid next door pushed the bed next door again the wall when making it - I could hear her moving around this morning obviously preparing the room after a guest had left - I am a frequent traveller and know how annoying these things can be - BTW Sofitel Budapest were I stayed recently has carpets !

Room Tip: ask to be away from Station side of hotel otherwise you will hear trains and announcments

Four night stay across a weekend with two other couples. Main positive was the modern comfortable and quiet luxury room on the seventh floor. Also the concierge on duty on the Friday was a charming gentleman who gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation. The staff are friendly but the overall service package is impersonal and not customer oriented. The main complaint we had was the charge of 70 euros for a couple for breakfast. A customer centric hotel would recognise that a reasonably priced continental breakfast is a basic requirement. We resolved the issue by having breakfast across the road at Flemings Hotel an excellent breakfast at less than half the price. Another complaint is the taxi process: on two nights we were told our taxi had arrived and when we walked from the bar to the front door the taxi was leaving with other customers. The front door staff claimed that the taxi on one occasion would not take us on the 10 minute journey to the restaurant. Another night we received a mediocre restaurant recommendation from the weekend concierge. Finally on one night we were asked to move from our seats in the bar area as the area was reserved for conference attendees...they did not show up in the hour we were sitting outside the bar. Enough said!
