Complete rip off! One of the worst hotels I have ever seen. No hot water on the first night. Hotel thought no problem, just pay full price... They even made fraudulent credit card charges of 170 eur after They has checked me out normally. The only good thing with this place was a decent brekfast. The hotel sucs big time, do no go!

If you want luxury turn away now. As young travellers on a budget we wanted a hotel that had basic private facilities (not a shared bathroom or dorm room) with a good location. In the end we felt as though the hotel was not very good value for money. We felt we paid a lot for what we were given. It was almost like we paid solely for the location.

Location was absolutely fantastic, a 5-10 minute walk to just about anywhere centrally located within Munich. Close to many large train stations, sights, shopping centres and of course restaurants. Yet in terms of the room, it was the most basic room we have ever stayed in, VERY tiny, no fridge, small slightly dodgy bathroom. But overall the room we were given was most certainly not a nightmare. Breakfast staff were incredibly slow to refill food supplies and clear tables. If you want to get a decent breakfast you have to eat before 8am. Once things run out they are not always refilled even if it hasn't hit 10:30 (the end of breakfast), if they are refilled it takes between a 10 and 20 minute turnaround.

For 5 nights in a twin room, we paid around 360 euros. The room and hotel overall were certainly not worth this amount of money. In the end we felt it was a huge amount to pay for the location.

On a quick review here goes my experience:
Staff: Horrible, unfriendly
Rooms: One small room, could not even open by bag, one single bed, no air conditioner and surprisingly, NO CURTAINS - I ask for a curtain in the window and the horrible lady said: "No of the rooms have curtains" - Just check the images of the hotel and you can see curtains in the windows.
Breakfast: Bread, some cheese, some times eggs, sometimes fruit, it depended on the day (I had to stay there for 4 nights)
The location is more or less safe, I would not go there with my family.
The regular costumers have a very strange appearance.
Bathrooms very old, no conditions at all and the cleaning lady probably has some trouble with the vacuum cleaner because she did not use it while I was there!
I had a room on the 6th floor but the elevator only went until the 5th!!!

For this price, or even for more 10 euros a night you can get much more in Munich, honestly.

We wanted an inexpensive priced hotel with good location. This hotel fit the bill. Although the room was small and had no air conditioning, beds were very comfortable and cleaned everyday. The staff was very helpful. One nice man who worked there made us to-go breakfast bags in the morning for our early airport departure. Location was perfect.... 5 minute walk to Marian Platz and had a great Italian restaurant right down the street.

Room smell cigarette very strong.
Price was very expansive 199 euros!
Employees wasn't correct with us, i can't understand such a bad customer service.
I will never return at this place.
I ask for a refund but they said it's like that, i have to find another hotel for next time.

The hotel is at an excellent location - approximately 10-minutes walk from Marienplatz (Glockenspiel) and Hoptbahnhauf (Central Train Station). Great connection from the airport by one direct train (S8 to Karlsplatz/Stacchus).
Room and bathroom were clean. Towels were replaced everyday, but it didn't seem like they really cleaned the bathroom everyday. Still, not unclean by any means. We had requested a double room and got a room with 2 separate beds. An inconvenience, but worked around by moving the beds together.
Continental breakfast was very basic and moderate. If you have an option to skip it while making your reservation, I would suggest doing that and getting something to eat from the nearby cafes/bakeries.
Most of the hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. We were allowed to store our bags as we arrived early and no rooms were available then. This must have been specific to that day because on subsequent days, people were checking in before the designated check-in time (3:00PM). The odd/rude thing was that they didn't allow us to have breakfast that day because we were "not yet checked in". Considering that we were staying there for 5 days, I thought they could have allowed us to grab a piece of toast/juice before we headed out!
While pretty much everything else about the hotel was good, our biggest complaint was their Wifi policy - no free Internet in the hotel; the only option was to purchase Internet credit at 3.50 Euro per hour!!! Given that this was by no means a budget hotel (in fact, it seemed to be catering to a lot of business travelers), it seemed like it would be a basic expectation to have free Wifi available to guests.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Munich for its good location and proximity to major attractions and public transport.
