“Cheap and good”
Reviewed September 8, 2012

Good value, but do not expect very good service or kindness of staff. They are bad indormed about own city.
Excelent room, very clen, very confortable and amazing localization, if you consider how close to the best places you are. I recommend.

The hotel is located in pedestrian availability from the main railway station of Munich and hictorical center. The area was rather noisy, especially during days off.The big inconvenience was created by night shouts and a smoke from the smoking. The source of that were numerous bars and the cafes of Middle-East kitchen located in the neighbourhood
Personnel was friendly and polite.
The room was clean and light, though the equipment was old, especially bathroom equipment that needs replacement. In number there were a safe and mini-bar.
Breakfast - the buffet, two hot dishes, tea, coffee, a gastronomy, sweets (even diabetic fruit jam). Can be estimated as 3,5 from 5.
Thr cleaning of a room of didn't cause complaints, towels were changed necessarily, garbage threw out daily.
Wi-Fi in a room worked rather well.
Very small TV with an unsuccessful set of programs, it was impracticable to view London Olympiade.

This hotel has a good location, close to the train station. From there it is possible to walk to most of the main attractions. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff was very friendly. We could leave our luggage before check-in and after check-out. The only thing I did not like was that in the web site it is said that they have non-smoking rooms, but our room had a strong cigarette smell. Since I stayed for only one night, it was OK, but If I had stayed for more nights, it would have been necessary to change to another room.

The hotel was great and the staff was very friendly. The biggest issue I had was that the streets between the train station and the hotel are lined with strip clubs and there weren't many restaurants nearby. There is breakfast but it is an additional fee so we just grabbed pastries from the train station most days.

Very centrally located hotel which although not luxurious, is very comfortable and clean with plenty of space. Good selection of TV channels but unfortunately, I didn't find any in English. The staff were very charming and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful and good value.
The area around the hotel is not the absolute best, but is still clean and safe, Some of the bars around have somewhat of a shady reputation, but this would only trouble you if you made a conscious choice to go into any of them
All in all, I would have absolutely no hesitaion in recommending this hotel to the mid-budget traveller. It is well worth the money

It's less than 10 minutes from the Main Station. It's not the nicest area. I didn't feel unsafe (male traveler) but if you're a woman, you might feel a bit scared at night.

The hotel looks old in the hallway and in the room but clean, not dirty. It's not too bad to be annoyed with, in my opinion.

The staff are all very friendly and welcoming - the kind of people that make you feel welcomed in a foreign land.

Me & 13 of my friends came here for 3 nights for my mates stag do. What a city. Fantastic place, we were lucky to be here in the hotest weekend of the year when they had a festival on so the atmosphere was amazing.

Hotel was clean, beds & towels changed everyday, 10 minutes from the hauptobahnof station so jump on s1 or s8 trains at the airport & it's easy to find. It's only 15mins from the centre of Marianplatz but a 12euro taxi ride to the nightclubs of ostbahnhof. Hotel isn't in the greatest of areas as it's a very Turkish street but we went to their smoking bong joints & they are really friendly.

Building work was going on at the hotel but we never heard a peep out of it, it's mainly modernisation so will be the better for it. Our corridor was very messy because of this but the other floors were fine. Didnt try the breakfast as it was 9euro & there are plently of other places to get a beter selection.

Staff very friendly but all Germans are so it's as you would expect!

Hotel is dated but not in a very bad way, just not a slick modern affair, more of a B&B.

Mini bar in room was handy & prices wern't too pricey.

For the price we paid for the location it is in then this hotel is a real bargain.

Room Tip: Try to ask for one at the back of the hotel as the main road at the front can have a bit of noise if...
