I've been on a trip with Andi to Neuschwanstein, which was a fantastic day out! We drove through quaint little Bavarian villages away from any mainstream tourism and did some stops at impressive churches (one of them the famous Wies-church), had a rest at the perfectly located cheese farm (filling up on yummy meats, cheeses, fresh bread and wine/beer) overlooking rolling hills and the Bavarian alps and walked up through a chasm to the Fairy Kings castle. The walk is optional, and the whole day is tailored to your needs.
Andi explained loads about local customs and the meaning of buildings and such things as the May-pole found in every village.
Having grown up in Bavaria, but lived overseas for many years, I saw Bavaria from a fresh perspective and was impressed on how the day was organised. I found it great being in a small group, getting to know other people and keeping the day nice and relaxed.
100% recommended!

We enjoyed an excellent day with Mario touring Neuschwanstein and the Bavarian countryside. Mario picked us up from our hotel right on time and the first two stops were at churches outside Munich along the Bavarian romantic road. We arrived at the castle around noon and had plenty of time for photos and the tour operated by the castle staff.

In the afternoon we visited a cheese farm for a spread of meats and extremely fresh cheese. Mario is a Bavarian native and fluent English speaker, so he was the perfect host for the day. Make sure to ask him to take some photos of the group as he knows all the best spots at the castle. This tour was the highlight of our time in Germany!

Andy was our guide during the day trip to Neuschwanstein castle. We are happy with this tour from the beginning to the end - comfortable van, small group, interesting extra stops, informative guide. Highly recommend. Many of our friends like to do public transportation or large bus tours to the areas of interest. Honestly, this tour is a much, much better option and value.

My husband, brother and I did a tour to Neuschwanstein castle in May -Mario was our guide. Mario was knowledgeable and friendly, he told us lots of interesting stories and facts about the area. The castle was quite impressive, and one of the best parts of the day was our stop at a dairy farm- we sampled bread, butter, cheese and ham and sausages- it was really delicious! we also stopped off at some churches on the way and on the way back- they were very beautiful. The whole area is clean and green, and has some great photo opportunities. Mario was a great guide, and I would definitely recommend this day trip! Mario will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel too.

Thank you to andy for showing me and my wife everything from the castles to the dairy. We had a great day in a personal van with plenty of refreshments. We went off the beaten path and saw things that we would have never thought to see on a group tour. Thank you guys for everything. Next time we are in Germany we look forward to seeing Salzburg. I would recommend you to anyone.
