Great location, next to the train station. We arrived the last week of Oktoberfest 2012. Pleasant and helpful staff. Beautiful and spotless hotel. Nice rooms, comfy bed and marble bathroom. Excellent buffet breakfast; fresh cold cuts, cheeses, fruits, breads, pastries, juice and hot beverages. Would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to anyone. Our only complaint was we could only stay for 1 night. Free internet in the lobby. The airport bus was across from the hotel, very conveinent.

Couldn't ask for a more central location in Munich--right across the street from Munich's Central Train Station. Even though we didn't use the train, a great central area to begin schedule a tour, ample selections of food within walking. Even though it was near the train station, we never heard any noise.

We were upgraded to a superior room which was comfortable and fit our tastes for a 3 nite stay. Price included a breakfast in morning which provided a variety of items to get the day started. Would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Request a room in the back if possible.

Single night stay as part of a recent business trip to Munich and my usual hotel (Flemings) was full. It is located directly opposite the railway station so good for airport transfer bus and taxi ranks but what a seedy part of Munich. Don't hang around outside.

Efficient and friendly check in desk. Room was basic but very clean. Superb comfortable bed with super pillows and a duvet. OK bathroom. My room was on 5th floor in the front of the hotel but with blinds down i hardly noticed noise from trams, street etc. Great night sleep.

Down sides - no free wi-fi! Breakfast was buffet with hot and cold choices although all the hot stuff was cold.

Conclusion this is ok hotel with comfortable but basic room but wont replace Flemings as my first choice for business travel.

I chose this hotel for a last minute business trip that happened to fall on the opening weekend of Oktoberfest. Since most hotels were fully booked, I didn't have too many affordable choices. I might stay here again if the prices were normalized; I assume I paid a higher rate for the festival. But, I would probably opt for one of the other hotels nearby.

The superior single room is really very small, but it was clean. The hotel is convenient for tourism and the train station. The gym was very nice. Breakfast was good, not great.

Most of the front desk staff were nice, except for the concierge.

Excellent, central location, excellent breakfast.
I was on the first floor, street-side and still could barely hear any outside noise.
I stayed in a single room here for 4 days for Oktoberfest -- very highly recommended, as it is close to the grounds and not too far from the main part of town as well.
the only downer is the internet -- I paid 5 Euro for 30 minutes in the room and it didn't work.... and even after I mentioned it, they didn't take it off my bill. There is a nice computer in the lobby -- but you have to pay for internet access there as well. Otherwise, a very excellent place with some very helpful and friendly staff.

Very nice staff. We had to leave the hotel the next morning before breakfast time and they offered to have the breakfast at once or pack a nice lunch bag with us in the next morning. We chosed to have the breakfast right away. The breakfast had a wonderful variety local bravarian cheeses, sausages, pastry etc included. The room was very cozy with original wooden floors and paintings on the walls, very comfortable bed, big bathroom with the bath, included skin friendly hygine products.

I stayed in this hotel for a few nights when i travelled in Munich for business purposes in August, and i have satisfied from the basic commodities and especially from the location! Maybe, the neighborhood around a major train station isn't proper for a family (with children) in the late hours, but for the rest, staying there is very useful.
