We booked this hotel because it was right opposite the train station and where we wanted to be. The Lufthansa airport bus (about 12 euros each, one way) leaves from right across the street that the hotel is on- 30 second walk to the bus stop. You can walk down to the central part of Munich (Where the pedestrianized shopping area is) in about 10 minutes, and just up the road from the hotel (away from the train station - head out and turn Right) is a very good beer garden, Augestine Keller - highly recommend that for dinner.
The rooms were big, there was air conditioning that worked and a large flat screen TV on offer (but not many English language channels, seems to be the normal thing for this part of Europe).
The staff were very helpful, and helped me select a day long tour for my wife and I to go on.
The pillows were, in a word, horrible. I ended up getting a towel and folding that up and putting it under the pillow - because it simply flattened to nothing. The sleep quality, for me, was affected because of this.
