Description: Since 1861 we have been offering Bavarian hospitality and first class enjoyment. Franz Schmuck and Thomas Eder have been in charge since 2010 and are dedicated to providing the very best in Bavarian cooking through their time-honoured, traditional dishes. Whether you choose our Munich Fleischpflanzerl from an old Bavarian recipe, our pork in dark beer sauce, our fish in bretzel coating, our menu includes all the best that the region has to offer. For those with a smaller appetite, we have bread dishes such as obazda, fresh pretzels and Nuremburg sausages. Whatever you choose, we’re looking forward to welcoming you at Weinbauer – see you soon!

A friend of mine suggested to try the Weinbauer Schnitzel and honestly speaking this was the best Schnitzler i ever tried in my life.

The Service in the Restaurant is exceptional friendly and effective.

A hidden gem, just off Leopoldstrasse, not yet discovered by masses of tourists. On most evenings you will meet plenty of patrons, who frequently (some even daily) come in for drinks and food. Reservations are highly recommended. Place offers good Bavarian fare (for those who like that sort of thing) and the best beer on tap we had in Munich. It has mild and slightly "woody" taste. Kaiserschmarrn were humongous and delicious. Prices were just like in any other Bavarian restaurant in Munich.
