I was a nice hotel. We had the breakfast on morning and it was petty good. The area of tow is not the best but it's not far to walk to the city center. We had a group with five rooms and every room was different. One group had a room on the top floor with a sprial starcase, the beds were upstirs. Over all it was a good experience.

The hotel offers is good value and is quite comfortable. The rooms are cean and large and quite pleasant. The breakfast was OK, but the breakfast room was rather small.

I's like to point out, though, that the Mercure website is slightly misleading. Under the "Bathroom facilities" heading it lists shower AND bathtub, which led me to believe that I would get both. However, only part of the rooms do offer a bathtub.

I also found the rooms on the street side poorly sound-insulated, which is a pity in a "lively" street, which also gets a lot of noise from the nearby main streets.

Room Tip: For light sleepers: please ask for a room on the courtyard. Bath tubs are not standard and should...

Was pretty happy with this hotel on the whole. The room was a little oddly configured though - presumably because I was on the top (7th) floor. The bathroom, desk and one TV (but no sofa, just a single chair) was on one level and the bed and another TV was above the bathroom up a spiral staircase. I would have been a bit stuffed if I couldn't easily climb stairs..... The food in the restaurant was very nice though - they even brought out a little "make your own pesto" kit before the starters which was nice. Breakfast was pretty decent too. It's in a slightly run down area, but its only a short walk to the centre of Munich which was great. I didnt use public transport at all to get around the city as it was very central.

Room Tip: Avoid top floor rooms as they are split onto two levels

I stayed here for four nights recently and was very impressed. The room was big and very clean, the breakfast was great, the staff were helpful, and it was very close to the main train station. There was also a free mini bar (with beer, Sprite, still and sparkling water) that was refilled every day.

The bed was king size and the pillows were very comfortable. There was a desk, sofa and balcony (some sixth floor rooms only). It was also quiet and the curtains were great - very thick! All in all very good value for money and I definitely recommend it.

Room Tip: It seemed that the fifth floor and up had the biggest rooms.

hotel is walking distance from train station - not even 5 mins. On walking to the hotel the thoughts that were going through our minds what have we done the area was very seedy I certainly wouldn't want to walk in this area at night! On arrival we were made very welcome, staff were very helpful. The lift was extremely tiny and slow, our room was very hot as it got all the afternoon sun, air conditioner seemed to struggle with the heat so the room took forever to cool down. If you are an Accor member your WIFI is free. Mini bar was free but only had 2 bottles of water, 1 x sprite and 1 beer in it. There was no file with hotel information in room. Carpets were very badly stained.
