I just got back from Europe after a month's visit. I stayed in 7 hotels. 1 in the Azores, 1 in Munich (this one, Cristal Hotel), 1 in Salzburg, 1 in Vienna, 1 in Venice, 1 in Florence and 1 in Paris. I can say quite easily that this was the worst hotel that I stayed in during my vacaction. In fact, the over night train from Vienna to Venice was more comfortable.
The air in my non-smoking room was thick with smoke. The staff was cold.
During my trip I stayed in some really old hotels, this was probably one of the more modern ones I stayed in, yet it was very dated. An earlier post said cheap. That would be accurate. The only good thing about this hotel was that it was close to the train station and a quick walk to the main parts of the city. But thats not enough to warrant another star. It was that bad.
