This is a very big hotel located somewhat at the distance from the city center, but great as access from airport by Lufthansa bus (its first stop after airport and then brief walk)

Service is up to the usual Marriott standards - efficient, polite, helpful and informative. Breakfast good, Players restaurant good for night cap.

Rooms, while having (excellent) modern beds - could do a bit of refreshing....Maybe it was just mine, but for example wall near the luggage stand was all covered with dark marks, cracked tiles, iron falling apart, etc. Nothing criminal, but the brand name (and the price) command a certain level of standard that was not present. Again, perhaps it was my room

I cannot recommend this hotel as a place for city explorers, as central area is a bit of distance (6 stops by U bahn to Marienplatz, nothing lengthy, but its for sure not central)....for business visitors - you need to understand why you chose this place...

The Munich Marriott has everything you expect from an hotel bearing the Marriott badge. Staff is friendly (and fluent in English), rooms are nice, although small-ish, breakfast is excellent and prices are steep. Our room faced an heavily trafficed road, but the windows are very well sound-proofed, and noise was not an issue.

The immediate surroundings leaves something to be desired, but the subway station is three minutes away, and in six stops you're at Marienplatz.

I stayed here whilst at a conference and thought the hotel was very nice. The room was a bit small but well appointed and the public spaces were lovely. The sports bar was ok but nothing special, breakfast was very good. This hotel is not cheap in comparison to similar quality hotels in other major European cities

I stayed here for a business Meeting. It is a good Marriott option: two buildings, two restaurants, king size beds, etc etc.
Walking distance from the Hotel there was practically only one or two worth restaurants.
I preferred to take the U-Bahn locatted 2 streets away and around 6 stations to the city center (Marienplatz).
A good option for a Meeting I would say, facilities and breaks (with two big coffee machines). The hole week this Hotel was full of Meeting attendants, I guess someone else shares my point of view...

Was expecting a lot more from a hotel in this price range. Location is good, and rooms are ok, but the staff weren't all that friendly.

Also, the hot water in the room goes scalding hot and cold sometimes, which was unexpected at this price range.

I also resent having to pay for Internet at a place this expensive, but that's quite common among business hotels.
