Konigsplatz is impressive because of the three buildings there. Konigsplatz was planned by Ludiwg I in 1817. At the center of the plaza is the Propylaen and this was finished in 1862 by Leo von Klenze. On one side is the Museum of Classical Art, which is called the Antikensammlung. On the other side is the Glyptothek, which has a collection of classical sculptures, about 160 statues.
