“My Favorite Haunt in Munich!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 9, 2013

We went here almost every day just to walk around, drink beer and have a bite to eat. The fruits, vegetables, cheeses, meats, pickles, gifts, treats, restaurants and everything else were everywhere and beautiful to behold. Unfortunately, I couldn’t bring it all home with me!

There are plenty of places to eat, drink or just take in the sunshine on a warm day. I especially LOVED the beer garden in the center of the market. Even more so, once I found the FREE toilette!

If I was a Münchener, I’d go to this place every day!!

“Definitely visit this outdoor market”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 8, 2013

Lots of fresh food, restaurants and gifts to be found. Stop at one of the fresh juice stands for a yummy thirst quencher. Beergarden always seemed to be full of people but there are lots of other places to get something to eat. Hand made gifts, cheeses, meat shops. So much fun exploring this marketplace. Recommend you browse the area if you're coming to the Marienplatz.

“Fantastic marketplace”

You could spend a lot of time here...and we only had 20 min! It's just fun to look at the beautiful displays of meat, fruits & vegetables, plants, etc. etc.

“Chill and delicious.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 26, 2013

HIGHLY recommend the stall with dips, antipasto and olives. Delicious, and not costly. A++++ to tzaziki and eggplant (aubergine) dip. Buy a pretzel and picnic!!
Also got amazing bratwurst from one of the stalls, and enjoyed a fresh beer in one of the biergartens! nice evening out.
