One of a number of fabulous religious buildings in the city. You could spend a day visiting them all. This one shines out

St. Peter's Church is very beautiful as many historic churches are but we really enjoyed climbing to the top to get a view of the city. The climb is steep and many stories high but once at the top you can walk around the outside and get a birds eye view of the city.

A beautiful church. I was totally amazed with the magnificence of the churches in Europe. The history was very interesting. We had a young Bavarian girl show us through the church

It is more beautiful inside that what you see from outside (white and plain walls). Moving and warm atmosphere, specially in christmas time. Being a catholic church, it is free to visit it, except the tower. Ascending to the top of the tower costs 3 euros. There are 306 steps in the stairs, but it deserves the effort. Incredible views of the whole city and wonderful photos can be taken.
