“Great story!”
Reviewed March 27, 2014

This church has a great story behind it. The architecture and placement of columns and windows is very interesting.

“I loved it!”
Reviewed March 26, 2014

The size of it is overwhelming (longer than a football pitch and takes more than 2000 people), and it is gothic with all its impressive simplicity and beauty. The onions on top of the two towers look rather strange though! If you want to take the whole in you have to climb the tower of St. Peter's Church (a mere 306 steps, 2 Euros) just off Marienplatz. It certainly is worth a visit, it differs substantially from all (or at least most) of the churches in Munich.

“Attending Ash Wednesday Mass was very moving”
Reviewed March 15, 2014 via mobile

We happened upon this church by its presence in the city itself. But when you walk in and see the massive structure you have to come celebrate a mass. We were lucky to be in town for Ash Wednesday mass and attend. Very moving experience and it was captured live on TV as well.

“Landmark!”
Reviewed March 14, 2014

One of the tallest buildings in Munich, try to go there with a guided tour. Many details to learn about this place.

Devil's foot is located here.
