We booked a day trip to see the castle. The instructions to meet at the main station were clear.
The tour was very good, but we felt a little rushed (but to be able to cram the travelling, lunch and castle tour into 9 hours was just achievable).

Our tour guide - Jeff was very good and knowledgeable and kept us all together and informed.
You may wish to get the horse and carriage up to the castle as it was quite a treck up the side of the mountain.

The day was horrible. The train was full and overheated. The bus that they booked to take us to the castle was overbooked, they have to take half of our group on public transport. Once we got to the castle, the line for the bus was way long so our guide told us to walk up...quite a hike. On eat the castle he lost us and we didn't see him again until we were ready to get on the train.

Then decides that he is missing some people (after everyone had gotten on the bus). Again the train was jammed packed and overheated. People had to stand for the two hour train trip back. Not a good day. I have taken tours with this company previously and no problems. Guess it was just one of those days.

Amazing service by the office.
I travelled alone and I booked my tour with radius. We had an amazing guide Maxine , a very polite and classy lady who was amazing on what she did.
She recommended to us the best places in Salsburg.

Congrats!!

Just home after a lovely week in Munich. We were lucky enough to get on three Raduis tours. Salzburg tour with our guide Alun Evans was just lovely. Even though the trains were messed up on our return journey We didn't need to worry as Alun was in control, sorted us out and got us back safely. Neuschwanstien Castle was very weather dependent and the fog and mist completely covered the castle which meant there were sadly no spectacular views, however Austin our guide kept us entertained with tales and information about Ludwig's life and times. Our last tour was brilliant, a walking tour round Munich about the rise of the 3rd Reich. Absolutely fascinating.Sabre, our guide was so interesting and let us ask as many questions as we liked. Well worth the money. Thank you.

A two and a half hour tour (though not much walking) of the history of the 3rd Reich. Very knowledgeable guide (Nicola). Saw lots of significant buildings and learned some interesting stuff about Hitler and the beginnings of the Nazi party. Would highly recommend if you've come to Munich for the History.
