Our visit to the Aumeister for an evening dinner inside the restaurant with friends proved excellent in every way. Known for its Bavarian duck, red cabbage and knodel, three of us (including our Bavarian friend) went native. The cream of asparagus soup, also typical for the season, was perfect, and I have tasted quite a few over the past years. Served with courtesy and professionalism, immaculate and charming (gemutlich!), the Aumeister did not disappoint. It's location near the Englischer Garten and its beer garden give you an excellent reason to visit for lunch, a weissbier and snack or for dinner. Highly recommended....we loved it.
