“Poor Service, Average Food”
Reviewed September 17, 2013

We were in Germany recently and took a day trip on one of the tour buses. When we stopped in Hohenschwangau the tour guide said 'anyone who wants a good lunch follow me' and lead us here. The service was terrible - I mean terrible. The brought the wrong food to the table twice, and tried to give us someone else's order while we were eating. I said 'We already have our food, that is what we are eating'. The waitresses act like it is their first day on planet earth. The food was noting to write home about, average at best. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else. Try a restaurant where the tour buses aren't getting a kickback to steer everyone into their restaurant.

“Good food, great service and lots of tourist”
Reviewed September 7, 2013

When the buses pull in and you are given only and hour to eat, you get nervous. Well the staff at Hotel Muller got it under contol.
The staff efficiently took orders, delivered good food and drink all within an hour, even though several busses pulled in at the same time. The staff did not even break a sweat. The menu has the standard German foods but the meal was hot and surprisingly
good. They have clean and large restrooms.

“German efficiency”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

Needed a bite before climbing the steep pathway to Schloss Neuschwangau. This place was recommended by our tour guide so we took her advice and went in. The place filled up really fast but the team dealt with everyone really quickly, equipped with their hand held ordering devices, the food was soon flying out of the kitchen. Went for the Wiener schnitzel with fries. It was ok..not a culinary masterpiece but filled its purpose and we were soon on our way to the Schloss. Most impressive feature of the restaurant was how quickly they dealt with the sudden crowd plus their multi lingual abilities.

“Swift service, generous portions and reasonable prices”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

We didn,t want to start our tour of Neuschwanstein on a full stomach, so the Euros 4.50 cream of potato-and-leek soup, with bread roll (butter an extra 50 Euro cents), and our Euros 3.00 cappucino was perfect. The menu is quite extensive, featuring all manner of traditional Bavarian wursts (sausage), plus pizzas, fish and roasts, a dazzling selection of beers (well, it IS Bavaria) and moderately-priced wines from near and far. The service was pleasant, polite and efficient. Best of all, it was very close to (20 metres from) the mini-bus that, for Euros 1.80, hurtles you at near-terrifying speed up the mountain to the Marianbrücke stop.

“Great service....”
Reviewed August 30, 2013

Got in late in the evening (minutes before closing) and had a great meal-a bit expensive however.
It was very well prepared, and delicious. Got a corner table for two for breakfast and could enjoy the best of views. The buffet is wonderful. The will be a waiter wandering around requesting any special egg dishes. All that being said, there are cheaper places to eat.
