The Ipiros is on the small side of restaurants located on the edges of downtown Erlangen. Its interior is modern rustical in an L-shape form. We visited on a Friday evening. About 75% of the tables were reserved but they managed to provide us with a table for two towards the back (which was a bit on the chilly side temperature wise, so better put on something warm).
Instead of the huge, greasy affairs that we've had at other Greek restaurants the Ipiros subscribes to the Mezes principle: lots of different small tasty dishes (fairly priced) that can be shared and freshly made. We enjoyed the food very much and shall definitely return!
