This is a place I would never have dreamt of going to but have now been here relatively regularly with friends who love it. The interior is bordering on clicheé annd the food is very simple. Large portions very rich in calories - things like schnitzel, knuckle of pork, bread with lard and raw onions. There is very little for vegetarians - tomato soup and bread with cheese. The service is a little chaotic but very friendly and will bend over backwards to help. The landlord even speaks a little English.
