We stayed 2 night at the Reindl hotel in January, we were ther for a day of ski at Garmisch. From outside the hotel looks very ordinary, but as soon as you get in you can see it's an old hotel that have been well treated over the years. It is very clean, we were having a kind of junior suite with a patio and heating floor in the bathroom, the room was huge !
The hotel restaurant is very good .
The place is also very quiet.

Room Tip: ask for a junior suite with patio.

We stayed here since it was within walking distance to the town and we brought our dog with us. There is a path to walk you dog so no issues there. Parking is assigned - they have blackboards on the walls in front of the spaces and they write your license plate and date of departure on it. So if you leave, you can come back to that spot since it is yours. The parking garage is also underground. You must reserve a space when you book as it is limited parking.

The hotel itself was nice...seemed a little dated or old fashioned but it was clean and had everything we needed.

I think this hotel would be better to stay at in the summer or warmer months because the outside looks gorgeous.

Room Tip: The delux rooms face the garden so it is much more quiet - the deluxe rooms are also bigger. You have a sitting area/living room and then your bedroom.

We were upgraded to two junior suites when there was apparently some error in our reservation. The place looks fantastic, with gorgeous old World rustic hunting lodge mixed with charming antiques, and that's part of the problem. The charming old bed we were in creaked every single time my husband moved, which was so very annoying to me. Time to upgrade some of the furniture. The beds for the rest of our family were just fine. The had a convenient underground parking garage. The sumptuous breakfast was in a lovely sunroom. Reception staff was very friendly.

Really one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in - and I travel a lot for a living. Delightfully warm and welcoming and every effort made by the staff to meet guests' expectations which, especially at Christmas, can be quite high.
Managed well with a large group, who still felt like valued guests at all times.
Superb meals and wines, well appointed rooms, helpful and professional staff, good pool and spa, convenient location. A real treat!

Room Tip: Generally rooms are large, but just check if you have a single.

We stayed here December 2012, what a great place, the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded to a suite which was fantastic, it was so spacious. The views from our room were amazing. It was an easy walk walk from the station to the hotel. It was also a very easy walk into town to the shops and Christmas market. The breakfast was really good and very relaxed sitting in the conservatory. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble, they arranged our tickets to Zugspitze all we had to do was collect them from reception, they told us how to get tickets for an ice-hockey match that was taking place on the Sunday afternoon, which was great.
