Staying here while I hike the area, really lucked out picking this hotel. Reception really spent time explaining the multiple sport facilities (spa, massage, pool, weight and exercise room etc), very convenient for Partnach Gorge and Hausberg bahn, free bus pass over to Zugspitze facilities. Incredible included breakfast buffet to tank up before a days hiking, underground parking. Lots of stairs etc to rooms but I got a top room and can see the Olympic ski jump from my balcony.....just beautiful. A very cool underground tunnel linking all the buildings will be handy in the winter but nice as well when it rains. Very pleased with the whole experience. Be aware not everyone in Germany speaks perfect English but if you try even a little German they respond enthusiastically. Hotel is very close to the Partnach village wonderful choice of restaurants and shops, check out wood carvings especially.

We booked dorint for our last stop in europe tour.Arrival was easy and sort of brisk but reception lady was not warm in welcoming surely , but may that’s because she having a long day ! or whatever but definitely customer service need to be improved.

We booked 1 standard apartment and studio for family of 6 and were given rooms miles apart
even after requesting them to give us next or closer rooms.

Lady at reception was not ready to hear and keep saying hotel
is busy and i could see lot of empty rooms ..
Oh well !!

and then worse thing ... it was a long walk to both the apartment as they don’t have lifts to the high floor so please not before you book
They have 1 person helping with luggage .. insane with such a big hotel and busy holiday schedule ....

we did not feel rooms were cleaned properly during our stay by housekeeping but whatever
, although they charged us extra money on our checkout for some v small damage .. which was not even done by us ....

Breakfast was good and included in price although can make some more vegetarian option ... Hello !! world is becoming more vegan

Balcony in the top rooms special and have nice lovely view of mountains and could see clouds next to us almost ..

Italian restaurant Kulimare inside the hotel serves good food but restaurant manager was pretty rude even with restaurant empty did not give us table and then had to comprise on take away —-behaved badly . hotel should
teach them customer service seriously ...

When we first arrived at the hotel we found it wonderful, though old. The way up to the room was quite rough, and included a short climb with our luggage, as we haven't been told about the car entrance or about the underground tunnel.
The room seemed neat and clean, but later we found a few cocoons attached to the curtain. The staff quickly removed those.
Also, the refrigerator wasn't operating when we arrived, but was replaced the next morning, and the toilet seat wouldn't stay up. The last issue the staff wouldn't try to fix until before our very last night, when the maintenance person finally replaced the toilet seat which obviously fixed the problem (while the desk staff insisted that it wouldn't, and then insisted that there is no problem with the toilet).
This hotel needs immediate renovation. I would definitely recommend visiting afterwards, as Dorint is indeed a wonderful hotel chain.
Breakfast was a usual Dorint breakfast — wonderful and worth the high price.
