We stayed here during Pfingsten (Whit) for 3 nights. They were super friendly, recommended great places to eat and drink in the town, had a great little tuck shop and were perfectly located. They couldn't do enough to help, drawing out maps and recommending local sights to see (a scenic drive with fantastic views). Breakfast was great. The room was huge and very comfortable (although it did have my pet hate of 2 single matresses to make up a double which is so common in Germany). The bathroom was small but functional and after staying at the Kenneth MacKenzie in Edinburgh any bathroom feels like a palace compared to that!
Only thing I would recommend is that they invest in some playing cards and board games for wet evenings in!
We will definitely stay here again if we visit Berchtesgaden.More
