I spent three nights here with a walking tour group. The hotel is in the old part of the town, so strolling around the surrounding streets, filled with small shops and cafes, is a real pleasure. The lobby is large, contemporary, and lively. I had very little interaction with the front desk staff, but they seemed fine. My room was spacious, immaculate, and attractive with windows that opened so I could catch a breeze and hear the rainfall that came one late afternoon, as well as the 3-piece band playing traditional music in a nearby plaza. As a previous reviewer noted, the water temperature in the shower fluctuated but otherwise all was fine. The breakfast buffet was copious with a wide array of choices. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant two nights - delicious traditional cuisine.
