Recently stayed here for a few days and it really could not have been better. Journey from Munich by train was super easy and the taxi from the station was €10. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. Our room overlooked the pool area and out across the woods to the mountains beyond. It was well appointed, really big, clean and had everything we needed, except a kettle, so English folk beware!
They class your stay as ‘half board’ as if you want to eat from the lunch menu you have to pay, however the cake buffet between 2-5 is more than plenty. All of the food is fantastic, breakfast had an outrageous choice of both hot and cold items of all varieties, and dinner was really lovely. Despite our German being basically non existent the staff were very good and the menus were available in English.
The spa area was extensive and very high quality. The outdoor hot tub was particularly good.
We went midweek and there were not too many people here but it’s of a size where even if every room is full it doesn’t swamp the facilities.
WiFi is free and available throughout the hotel, there is a gym, games room, bar, lounge area, outdoor terrace and basically everything you need. In winter I’d say get a car if you want to explore the area as the bus is summer only.
