We are a family of four with a dog and we were very pleased with the hotel. We spent one night over a weekend in order to visit the Mercedes and Porsche museums... definitely a little further out than we would have liked, but the S3/S2 line is just across the street below the aiport (seriously, the airport terminal is directly across the street), so very convenient from that stand point.
Rooms were clean, updated and comfortable. I was told the beds were queens over the phone, but they were really just a bit bigger than twins - fortunately, the hotel brought up an extra single bed for 20EU. Also, we were quite surprised at how quiet the room was given that it was right across from the terminals - very well soundproofed.
The folks at reception were very welcoming and nice with instructions/advice. Within 20 minutes of checking in, room service came up to deliver a dog's bed and bowl, even though we didn't ask (we had our own).
The breakfast in the hotel was 22EU/adult, but kids ate free and the buffet selection was nice (including gluten free breads/cereal and omelette bar), so worth it.
The original room cost was quite reasonable, but be prepared for additional fees like parking and internet. The Wellness center was a great surprise, very relaxing sauna/steam area (unisex).
The reservationist must have heard me mention my son's birthday and when we came home from our evening, we were suprised with a really nice birthday cupcake waiting for him in the room. Nice touch!
Again, the only con is the far out location, but overall, I would definitely consider staying here again.

Room Tip: About 30 minutes by train from the Mercedes Museum/MB Arena/Wasen Fairgrounds 30 minutes by car to...

Dear „Soccer Papa“,

Thank you for having shared your positive experience the Mövenpick Hotel Stuttgart Airport & Messe.
It is a great pleasure to read that you and your family enjoyed your stay with us and that our team could positively surprise you. Regarding the size of our beds, we do have queen beds measuring 160X200 cm, however we also offer the possibility to book rooms with a king size bed (180x200cm). Should you be staying with us again, please do not hesitate to ask our reservation team about your preferences and needs so that we can prepare everything before your arrival.

We regret that you do not find the location of the hotel as optimal, however we would be very happy to welcome you and your family again during your next visit in Stuttgart. Stuttgart and its region offer many activities for each season. Upcoming events are for example the traditional Christmas markets in Stuttgart as well as the medieval Christmas market in Esslingen, 15 km away from our hotel.

In the meantime, the whole Mövenpick team wishes you all the best and a good start in the winter!

Kind Regards

I chose this hotel based on the previous reviews and wholeheartedly agree. This is a great hotel and the fact that it is on the airport premises makes it even better.
Check in was a breeze, even though I arrived at 10am. Very nice Fitness Center with new equipment. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent with great service and delicious food.
I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Stuttgart!

This is just such a great hotel. It actually doesn't feel like an airport hotel because of the quality of the rooms, the ability and attitudes of the staff and the excellent restaurant.
The rooms are very comfortable, fully equipped with everything you need. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and unfailingly helpful and the restauarnat and bar facilities are great. It's a 2 minute walk from arrivals and the S-Bahn station so it's extremely convenient.

Room Tip: If you can get a corner room you'd be very happy.

Stayed at this hotel from Saturday to Sunday in order to attend a friends birthday party in Stuttgart. Was a loud to check in a bit earlier to get ready for the party. The check-in was both pleasant and efficient.

The room was awesome! Check their site or book a stay. Highly recommended and one of the coolest hotel rooms I have stayed in the last few years. The rate was reasonable on the weekend!

I did not eat breakfast at the hotel, but understood they have both buffet and ala carte. Look really good as I ran past to catch my flight :-)

I will definitely stay at this hotel again when I go back to Stuttgart. I paid 30-40 Euro to and from anywhere in the City by taxi, and it is a simple walk to the terminals at the airport. Worked great for me!

Room Tip: I was on the second floor facing the road to and the terminal of the airport. Did not hear a thing...

This hotel is clean, modern and above all, the service is amazing. We had said a child would share our bed and they supplied a pillow, duvet, rubber duck and sweets for our child for 1 night. Attention to details is excellent.

The moevenpick is directly outside terminal 1 of Stuttgart airport so you can actually walk there with your luggage. There is an S Bahn to the main station from the airport - the city center is about 20 minutes away. Despite being close to the airport its still amazingly quiet. I even had the windows open and did not really get disturbed by the noise. The guest rooms also have blackout curtains which help alot for a peaceful night's sleep.

There are 6 floors - the two top floors are the executive level - which is where I stayed.
There are two bar/restaurant areas in the hotel - one on the lower level which is more of a cafe/night bar (very professional waiters) and then one on the ground floor which is where breakfast is also held.

There is a spa and a gym - gym seems to be open most of the time but the spa was only open from 3pm which was a little inconvenient if you were planning to have a spa day

Guest rooms are really nice, and very stylish. I stayed on the 5th floor in an executive room and really liked the Hollywood dressing room style mirror - very handy if you are staying at the hotel for a special occasion and need to dress up rather than just there on a stop over. Beds were quite comfortable. There was also tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a large desk. There are plenty of electric sockets all over the place which allows you to be flexible as to where you want to plug in your laptop/hair dryer etc. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom which is more powerful than the usual vacuum nozzle style dryers that you get in other places, I still found my own better however.

There is a handy printing service from your room directly to the business center which was useful andalso a self service check in machine to print your boarding pass

Centrepiece of the room is the bathroom - its a walk in shower with a large shower head and there are various lighting settings for the area. There is a large frosted window pane between the bedroom and the shower however and there is not really a solid door between the toilet/shower and main room so its not 100% private

breakfasts were excellent and staff always very professional. I enjoyed my stay - a little bit of luxury without it being too over priced

Room Tip: Executive floor rooms were good value for money

I just spent a w.end at the hotel and it was great.

We were welcome with a nice and warm smile.

The rooms are modern, with His Own baroque style. I thought That the main doors, are very unique, with a lion in black and silver.
The rooms are spacious, we booked an executive, where the first 24 hours you have for example, free internet, a bottle of water every day, late check out. A huge fruits basket was put on the table as a welcome.
The bathroom is fantastic, and the yellow duck in the shower It is a very nice detail.

Breakfast, It is absolutely one of the best I have ever found at the hotel. Granting an excellent choice and great food quality, fresh made smoothie, fresh juice, fresh fruit , are just one example.

The location, It is also very conveniently located, 50 meters outside the terminal 3, with the metro to the center in just 27 minutes.

But I must admit that the only neo draws the restaurant, the day we left on Sunday, we were at the restaurant for lunch, and I took the linguine with pesto, pesto which unfortunately did not have anything except the green, and the linguine, were immersed in a sauce of cream and herbs, with rocket salad. While the mushroom risotto ordered by my husband, it was a mix of spelt, it was ok, but it was not a risotto con funghi.... perhaps here emerge my italian side.

But definitely a hotel to stay. We will be back, thank you to you all.
