We like to enjoy foods of the region we are visiting but needed a break from German food. We stumbled upon this Greek restaurant and it was delicious. All locals, excellent wine list, fresh food.
Highly recommend for travelers in the Stuttgart city. We went on a weeknight but our waiter said on weekends they turn the 2 nd floor into a club or a lounge with live music.

Having read all the good reviews on tripadvisor, I was interested to go here as I saw Udon soup noodles on the menu. I have a real love of great Japanese soup noodles and decided to try Fai Sushi.

Boy were we disappointed!! I ordered the Chicken Katsu Udon and my friend ordered the Fried Rice with beef. The broth was well flavoured but the portion of udon was not particularly generous. Even the good amount of chicken Katsu could not make up for that disappointment. In addition, the noodles were not firm but broke apart easily when held with the chopsticks. Underwhelmed. My friend was equally disappointed with his dish. The beef was perhaps fried with some old beef fat because it didn't seem very fresh. The fried rice and vegetables were distinctly average.

When we looked at other dishes on the menu, there were some ridiculous prices; Gyoza for 15euros, Prawn Tempura for 23euros. Even restaurants in London don't charge these prices in such an average place!!

On the plus side, the service was good and the it's nicely decorated. But you'll never catch me going back...

I have so far eaten here twice: an udon noodle soup for lunch and a sushi dinner for two. Both times service was friendly, if a little bit slow. The food was freshly prepared and tasted good. The noodle soups are in the range of 10-13 Euros and are a full meal. For the dinner - a la carte sushi consisting of mostly nigiri and a green tea each - we paid 50€.

The restaurant is parted in two seating areas. Downstairs, you can sit near the rotating sushi belt where you can pick your plates. You can also order a la carte.

Upstairs, there are several tables with benches on either side. There are small wooden walls between the tables, so there is a feeling of privacy. (However, this does only last as long as there are no noisy neighbors.) Since the sushi belt is not in reach when upstairs one has to order a la carte.

The sushi is priced by the usual "colored plate" system and starts at 2,50 for the cheapest version.

I found the quality of food to be very good and had an enjoyable evening. We were served some sake on the house upon leaving, which was a nice touch.

Payment via card or cash.
