“Smooth quality hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Nice room, great breakfast included, the fresh orange juice and truly excellent coffee were highlights, excellent service. Stayed on a business trip. It is bright, modern, and has everything you need. The gym is separate to the hotel but easy to access and has a good range of kit.

I have stayed in several hotels in the area and this one stands out. I visited the hotel with customers and colleagues. It has 3 bars, including a Irish pub with live music. The breakfast is 5 star with everything from fresh orange juice to made to order omelet.
The rooms have 42" screens and a hidden projector with Internet access. Mini-bar and in-room entertainment is free/included in room price. The bed is a double-single which means you can separate the beds if you share a room. If you like modern style and the possibility to have a late night drink, than I highly recommend this hotel. It is also close to the fair and airport. There is also a spa where the hotel guests gets discounts and a casino with 300 slot machines. I hope to stay there again.

Very nice hotel. Found the rooms to be clean, spacious and honestly is one of the best hotel beds I have slept in on a long while. Especially for a European hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. Stayed in the Red Wing and found it nice and quiet at night with a sterling view. Absolutely no problems with the internet connection and was able to Skype and watch movies on-line with no difficulty. Fast and easy to use. Breakfast was good, freshly prepared which was a nice treat and had enough variety that I did not get bored. (I was there for 4 nights). Bathroom was very clean and had plenty of towels and hot water to spare. Soap dispenser in the shower was a tad bit difficult to use but an easy enough adjustment to use it.
The underground passage to the convention center across the street was a nice touch and I did not have to lug a coat back and forth to attend events in the conference rooms. The ease of using the U-Bahn (commuter train) out back was great and allowed me to do a little exploring in the evening. No car was needed to enjoy the sights and events in Stuttgart. As the Beerfest was going on, made it easy to enjoy and not worry about parking or driving.Too easy. Front staff provided me directions to the running trail across the street and was nice to get in a little trail running away from the streets with a choice of several paths to follow.
My only gripe was on check-out they had not adjusted my check out day as previously requested earlier in the week and wanted to charge me for an extra night however the management realized it was an oversight and quickly adjusted the bill. THANKS! Overall a great stay at a nice hotel with access to Stuttgart and the surrounding area. Will be on my list of preferred places to stay when in Germany and specifically the Stuttgart area.

Room Tip: Upper floors have a nice view. Try the Red Wing, seems to be a bit quieter. Ask front staff about ho...

I've been staying at this hotel occasionally for business trips and can truly say that it deserves definitely 5 stars! It has been renovated lately so The atmosphere and the design are quite good, both in common areas and rooms, they have good quality food(Im just in love with their breakfast buffet and redgrill restaurant is a must for fine dining) and an underground stop is located right behind the hotel which makes transportation quite easy,it takes around 20mins to go to city center.i would definitely recommen this hotel to anyone coming to stuttgart.

Everything here is wonderful - the staff is very friendly , professional, competent and courteous - the rooms are spacious (for German standards) - we have been here for 1 week and are absolutely happy and content with our choice of hotel. The breakfast is awesome and there are lots of other pubs, restaurants within the complex to choose from.

The breakfast was good, and it was very nice that a train station is located directly behind it. However, the room service menu is small with nothing good to choose from. The internet barely worked the entire week I was there (when it did, it was slower than my dinosaur computer from the 90s). Also, the cleaning and wait staff do not wait for you to open the door for them. If you yell that you are busy or to come back letter, they enter anyways. This creates very awkward moments when you are in the shower or using the bathroom -- or changing. Male staff should never enter a room with females inside, and the worst part was they wouldn't leave until I yelled at them. The minibar also is small and has barely anything in it. You're paying for the look of the place, and it's not worth it. The hotel is loud (I was woken up by the air conditioner which sounds like a jet engine and another time when they decided to vaccuum my hall at 7 am). I will stay somewhere else next time where I can get good food, sleep, internet, and peace and quiet. If you like IKEA and just care about looks, then you'll love it here.

Room Tip: The rooms are all like IKEA - not cozy.
