I really liked this hotel. The lobby was modern, spacious and inviting. The rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. Hotel staff at check-in could have been a bit more friendly. They seemed rushed and weren't very interested in answering my questions. The location was excellent. It's only a block and a half from the train station so I was able to walk. It is also situated well in the downtown area for walking around and seeing the sights.

Superb location in the city center, right next to the Central Station (S-Bahn exit from end of platform 101 in front of hotel), just a few minutes’ walk to Stuttgart’s main sights.

Quick check-in. My room was on the 7th and last floor, facing the inner courtyard. Pleasant surprise with the window can be fully opened.

Limited amenities in the room but comfort is excellent. The bathroom is small but very modern and practical.

Breakfast costing 9,50 euros is very good value for money. You can take it outside in the inner courtyard.

My only negative comment would be about the TV screen which is quite small. Likewise, the bed duvet was much too small for me, but that seems to be the norm in Germany.

I have stayed in a few Motel Ones and felt like this one was a little more basic though they are all fairly basic. The room was clean and had the typical Motel One decor. They had a nice parking garage under the building and a pretty good breakfast spread. There were not a ton of restaurants in the area and ones within walking distance seemed especially sparse. This was also next to a major road so leaving your window open is not really an option. Not a bad choice just a lot to be aware of!
