The hotel is average. Room fitings are few and of poor quality. Toiletries on offer are simply a shampoo shower gel combo in ridiculously small quantities and cleaners will skip cleaning if you happen to be in the room when they want to clean. Location is convenient and bed is comfy enough. I would only stay again if proper hotels were out of my budget.

The Motel One Stuttgart-Hauptbahnhof is located near a pedestrian shopping area and the main historical sights are at walking distance. It was the first hotel belonging to the Motel One network in which we stayed and a positive revelation: you can enjoy a nice modern design at a low price, in a central location. Some disadvantages should be considered in Motel One hotels, in relation to the low price:
- you have to pay at check in (they do not have check out service) – therefore the check in is slower (and a queue is expectable);
- standard rooms are rather small (but clean, functional and with a pleasant atmosphere)
- minimal bath amenities (the shower gel is meant to be used as liquid hand soap too)
- there is no phone in the room
- there is no minibar in the room
On the whole, good value for the price. Breakfast worth the money (7.50 euro). Young and friendly staff.
The Motel One Stuttgart-Hauptbahnhof has a very pleasant inner terrace where you can have breakfast, a coffee or a drink from the bar in the lobby.
The hotel doesn’t have its own parking, but nearby there are several public parking garages, for 20-35 euro/day.

Room Tip: If you book more than one room and you want them to be on the same floor, don’t rely on common sense...

Good value for money hotel, close to train station and city center. Room was good value for money. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was normal European, but with a full selection of meats, cheese, yogurt, fruit and hrad boiled eggs.

For those used to kleenex tissue, bring your own, otherwise everything else is impeccable. The space is very effective and I very much like the contemporary style. The bed is comfortable although it is hard to believe that tall germans could actually cover their bodies with the small duvet's. I am short so I survived. I am a licensed builder so I am very sensitive on construction details, and this is super good work. Have a good time.

Room Tip: Only Know about the first floor, sorry.

There are negative and positive aspects about staying in this hotel. I stayed here for a study trip for my University..

Positives

1) Location on the hotel is extremely convenient.. I short walk away for the train station and the main shopping street..

2) Check in was relatively quick given the fact that we have 50 people inside our group..

3) The lobby was relatively huge and slick for a budget hotel and there was an outdoor terrace for people to drink and smoke.. A pleasant surprise given the fact that it is a 'motel'..

4) The room and is extremely clean and has a luxurious feel.. Despite the small size..

The Negatives

1) Price is quite expensive for a small room, or is it because my school put 2 people and there are different prices for the number of people inside the room.. as stated in the booking website.. This comes to my next comment..

2) The booking policies doesn't make sense since they charge different prices which depends on the number of people inside the room.. Given the fact that all the beds in the hotel are queen size or double bed..

3) Breakfast choices are not adequate, but I wouldn't expect much for a 'motel'..

Overall, I would recommend people to stay in this hotel.. This hotel doesn't deserve to be called a motel.. I would rather call it a hotel..

If booking policies are reasonable.. I would have rated this hotel 5 stars.. Right now, I will stick to 4 stars!!

Room Tip: Remember that this motel have only queen or double beds.. just remember to put only person each time...

We are staying a full week in Wiesbaden Motel One and wanted to visite friends in Stuttgart. I made several phone calls from the US, but Motel One Stuttgart/ train station did not want to make a booking for just one night in November. I was advised, that weekend bookings in November/December require a 2 night booking on the weekends. I told them, that I stay at their Motel One in Wiesbaden for a whole week. Well their policy was more important as customer service.
This is just one location. We are very happy with Motel One in Wiesbaden. They are super helpful and really cater to your needs. Too bad Stuttgart did not adopt this policy

I like the concept of Motel One. No frills, but efficient, reasonably priced, clean, friendly service and a good location.
Stuttgart Haubtbahnhof is a few meters away from the shopping areas and restaurants, surrounded by (not so cheap) parkings, and the station (obviously). Rooms are small and basic, but nicely decorated, very clean and quiet. Bathroom might have been slightly larger though.
Not what I would call a romantic hotel, but for a short stop-over it is just perfect.
