This is truly one of the best hotels in Stuttgart, rooms were large and clean, lobby and bar area nice and relaxing. Its a great hotel also if you want to visit the city centre of stuttgart, its just 10 min walking from central station and koenigstrasse shopping street! And for those who cant bother to walk there is an U-bahn station just next to the hotel (Staatsgallerie)!
I reccomend this hotel especially if you can get really good deals!!

I have stayed at this hotel several times, a few years ago it was associated to another group, but still with a luxury brand.
It is an excellent hotel, with great service, very good facilities and attention to details.
Location is good enough: a few steps from the Staatsgalerie and a short walk to the railway station, where the Koenigstrasse (main pedestrian shopping street) begins.

If you arrive by car, there is an underground car park (20€ per night) with direct lift access to the lobby.
Near the garage lift there is an automatic cash machine, which does not take credit cards, but you can always pay at reception.

The lifts appeared recently renovated and shining in marble.

I had a Deluxe room with view on the garden/courtyard, very quiet.
The door had a contactless lock, a ringer, a self-closing peephole and a safety latch.
The room was good size (I would say 30 sqm), with large king bed, armchair with ottoman, desk, little 5-wheel armchair (more luxury-type than regular office-style), illuminated wardrobe with much space, electronic safe with internal mains socket, efficient air conditioning with individual thermostat, 29" flat TV with various international channels.
Lighting was very good, with many lamps.
Blackout curtains were excellent, they fully overlapped and were very adherent to the walls and ceiling.
The minibar had drinks and snacks.
Internet was available wireless and wired for 1h (6€), 2h (8€), 24h (14€), in line with many other hotels, although I feel that nowadays it should be regarded as a basic commodity and always included in the rates just as running water is.

The bathroom was large enough with a large sink top and a large walk-in shower with a good and large shower head.
The toilet paper was of good quality and a mechanical scale was provided.
Bathrobes and slippers were available.
The only minor problem I found is that the bathroom ventilation was very slow and after a shower the mirrors took very long to clear from steam.

Room service had a good varied menu with something for everyone (pizza, pasta, fish, chicken, beef, soups, burgers, sandwiches, desserts, etc.).
Service was on time and well presented.

Breakfast at the restaurant was on the expensive side at 25€ but aligned with other top class hotels and the general ambiance was very good.
There were of course many cold and hot items, but regarding those cold ones that I am generally interested in:
- natural or fruit yoghurt in bowls only, no commercially packaged ones
- some fruits: water melon, melon, pineapple, kiwi and salad
- a few pastries
- many juice types

All staff were very professional and welcoming.
I think this hotel well deserves the top tripadvisor rating.

Room Tip: Deluxe rooms with view on the garden/courtyard are quieter.

I visited this hotel a few times and all I can say is "Love, Love, Love".
They service, location and food are the perks but my favorite thing about this hotel is the elegance of the room, all the rooms.

You can see the Merceded Factory from outside the window which also overlooks the park. Normally when I travel through Europe I don't spend much time in the room, but when I visit Stuttgart I find myself spending a lot of time just relaxing in my robe.

We stayed here July 10-12 to do something different in Germany and visited the Mercedes factory and Porsche Museum. The hotel had Starwood's nice bedding and the rooms were large. Unfortunately, the hotel is on a super busy street and the noise is amazingly loud but somehow the windows, with true German efficiency, keep the noise out. It's about 15 minutes walk to the bahnhof and in town action and it is a busy area with lots of shopping.

One important secret (no longer) is there is a nice bakery located about three minutes from the hotel up the hill in back where you can get coffee and baked goods that are wonderful. While we stayed, they were opening a new bar "Wille's" and were GIVING AWAY FOOD AND DRINKS! This is a new experience for us.

The spa (pool and jacuzzi) was a nice respite at the end of the days and Ella, who worked there, was welcoming and just super nice.

We stayed with Starwood for the entire trip and one thing that is a pain is the nickel and dime attitude that must be dictated by on high. Breakfast is ridiculously expensive so is Internet. Ditto local calls. Very much a cheap hotel feel from that perspective.

There was a beer garten across from the hotel over the bridge that is worth a visit. Also, we ran in the park which was just great and even saw camels at the zoo from the park.

Would definitely stay there again when in Stuttgart.

When we entered the room, the rose petals are all over the bed.
There were a greeting card and a bottle of champagne on the table.
My wife and I felt warm and happy.
They are certainly thoughtful.
And this little thing means a lot for travelers.

The location of hotel is one stop to the HBF, central station and
3 to 5 minutes walking from the station.
So it is convenient but not too busy.
The hotel entrance is not very fancy.
But we don't feel pressure under high ceiling.
It takes few minutes to check in and
hotel reception is very kind.

Elevators are situated on both sides of the lobby.
So it is faster to get in the room however,
the instruction is not clear enough to know before you take correct one.

The superior room is clear and comfortable.
Air conditioner works fine.
Decoration is simple but it includes everything you might need,
bath amenities, safe, iron board...
One out of all that my wife likes is that
there is a chair in the bathroom.
She can make up while sitting avoiding hurting her wounds on foot.

Shower is okay but not excellent.
We were too tired to feel the bed, however,
I supposed that it is good as I felt great after one night sleep.
I am not a fan to their pillow.
Down comforter is average.

All in all, it is good hotel with supplementary utilities, great staff,
comfortable environment and nice location.

Beautiful white fresh linen and a generous supply of pillows awaits in spacious rooms divorced from goings of the busy day just past. We have used this hotel in the past 8 years for business travel, family or leisure stays and it has pleased on each visit.

Diligence, precision and high customer service ethic abounds as you are checked in, bags transported and all relevant information communicated. After a tiring day, the pick is the room service and a movie on demand. The breakfast buffet is extensive and you need to leave some time to ensure you enjoy the range over a complimentary newspaper in european or english language.

Just a walk (approx 15minutes) from the main train station of Stuttgart or a taxi ride from the airport (approx 25-30 minutes) or if you have driven as we have on some occasions there is a basement security carpark for the car (and frauen parks close to the door).

A wonderful home away from home.

Le Meridien is in a convenient central location and delivers superior service in all areas. From the check-in process with Nadine to the always helpful Concierges to the Restaurant and Bar staff (especially Julian); everyone was so attentive and took genuine interest to ensure my needs were met and expectations exceeded. Excellent menu variety and cuisine served impeccably in La Cassoulet. A great hotel experience in all aspects! The only thing that could have possibly made this stay better would have been the use of the beautiful black Mercedes SEL 350 parked out front! Sounds ridiculous I know, but it would have been the only detail that would have improved my overall experience at Le Meridien!
