A convenient base at the top end of Stuttgart's main shopping drag... though just as that starts to become a bit scruffy! Booked a double room though received a single one. As it was of good quality, did not complain. The room, on the third floor at the back of the hotel was very quiet. In fact, the entire hotel seemed very quiet! I thought the bed was good quality, bathroom fine and TV good - pleasing to find BBC 1 and 2 on there!
I am sure there are better places to stay in Stuttgart though this seemed a reliable choice. Would I go back there? Probably not as I would want to try somewhere else, though if forced to, would not complain. Its that sort of OK hotel!

Room Tip: Rooms at the back are sure to be quiet!

Visited Stuttgart recently to see a football game at the Mercedes Benz, and got a decent deal for a few nights at the Hotel Boulevard.

After reading various reviews, I requested a room at the back of the hotel and that is what I got. The single room I was allocated on the third floor wasnt too big, although it was clean, cosy and quiet.

The hotel itself is basically bang in the centre of town, at the end of the huge Königsstrasse and just past Rotebühlplatz, where there is a healthy selection of cafes, restaurants and bakeries. Decided against breakfast at the hotel, as for 10€ I felt it wasnt worth the money and the wide range of bakeries on the doorstep. Across from the hotel theres a Lidl, a cocktail bar/restaurant and a casino, for those who like a bit of a late night flutter. Also a few minutes walk away is the U and S bahn Stadtmitte. Perfect.

Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful and informative; one slight was the housekeeping manager who wanted to come in the room every morning to check the room was cleaned properly.

All in all a pleasant stay, and would probably stay again if ever around Stutgart.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back, if noise from passersby and the nightclub could disturb you.

This hotel is in downtown Stuttgart. Location is great for nightlife and a single bed room runs you only 40€ , however, you will give up a lot of other things. 1) the place is so small that my family was broken up into 3 separate rooms (after there was a problem with the original booking). 2) no real means of security. No peephole in the door. Grant you, you can leave the chain on the door to check who it is, but let's be real... 3) the place is itchy and uncomfortable. I don't know how else to describe it! 4) no parking, the nearby garage was 20€ for 24 hours. 5) someone just walkes into my hubby room! There was no lock on his door, he only had a chain. On the upside: There is free wifi and the staff is very nice. I may consider staying again, but only if I was traveling without my child.

I have choosen his hotel for its good price and location and it is proven hat it was a good choice. For a short stay without any high expectations, you would be happy with the cleanliness. But no tea / coffee machine, no fridge with drinks. For daily needs, the Lidle is just accross the hotel. During daytime and also night, the street is always full with people, as there is also a casino over the Lidl market. The hotel applies deposit of 50 Euro - which was not the case with my reservation, and applied a rebated price of 7.50 Euro for breakfast in case you have a prior reservation over internet. The normal price for the breakfast was 10. It consits of 2 buildings and we have been given a room in the building at the back, which had a backyard and at one night there were people from surrounding buildings just shouting each other.

This is an average hotel, I have allmost forgotten that I stayed there , which in a way, is a good thing. The hotel layout is very strange , many levels and half levels few rooms here and there, lots of corridors and corners. Definitely nothing for someone that cannot use stairs very well.
The elevator is there but it is much more practical to use stairs.Arriving by car is a little complicated. Hotel has its own parking garage which will be explained to you during checkin so if you arrive with a car, and you do not know where the garage is, according to the instructions that I got from the hotel, you have to ignore all traffic signs and common sense and enter the pedestrian zone (avoiding concerned citizens and outside seating areas of local cafees). There you can unload your luggage and make your way to the garage which is "behind the corner". This is the first hotel where I managed to get lost , I could not find my room after checkin was completed. The numbering of rooms is completly illogical and does not follow any sense. In the elevator from the garage there are only some number "groups" assigned to the buttons so if you are unlucky like me you have to guess at what floor you room might be . Othervise the rooms were clean and average , breakfast nothing to write home about. Front desk staff very polite and professional despite my very late arrival, ready to help all the time.

Convenient location if you plan some shopping on Koenig strasse, but very difficult to access it by car and virtually no chance to find parking place outside the hotel, so be prepared for the hotel garage fee 12euro/night. The hotel comprises of several old buildings connected by many passages so it is kind of maze at the first sight. The single bed room was clean and reasonably spacious, equipped with a small sofa and a desk with a chair. The bathroom and shower was clean although very small. The breakfast was standard offer of cheeses, eggs, sausage and cereals, nothing exceptional. In general this is an average 3-star hotel in the centre of Stuttgart.

The best thing about this hotel is Location. It is located in the heart of the shopping district and very close to the central train station.

The rooms are ok in size but the hotel construction is slightly strange. Looks like an old building was converted into a hotel. You have to go thru a few sets of doors - and long corridors.
The washrooms are descent in size with a seperate shower with pletly of hot water.

The breakfast is included in the tarrif and good. It lacks in variety but makes up in quality.

For some reason the day we arrived the wi-fi was not working but it was functional the second day.

The service is excellent with a very attentive staff at the reception and in the restaurant.

Room Tip: Pick rooms away from the main street.
