I live in Stuttgart and whenever a visiter asks "where should we eat?" I point them directly to this brewery's restaurant. The food is fabulous and naturally, the beer is fresh! Not far from a minor public transportation hub, Marienplatz, this place is tops for quality, local, German dishes at a terrific value.

Brewery tap for Dinkelacker, the Brauereigaststätte is a very nice place to be. Very attentive service, extremely good choice of top-quality beer, and food that ranges from simple sausage dishes to excellent full-on gourmet treats. The pork medallions and asparagus dish I had was simply superb, and the best thing I ate during a week of great food.

I love German food but had never experienced the delights of Swabian cuisine before. Dinkelacker is a quintessential German restaurant with waiters in lederhosen who serve supreme lager from the adjacent brewery.

The food was heavily pork based with a nod to some beef and some beautiful looking seasonal asparagus. My girlfriend went for the suckling pork chops served with the fried potatoes. Succulent meat, potatoes fried in pork fat, what's not to like?! I went for the braised pigs cheek in wheat beer sauce which were tender and served with some hearty dumplings and an amazing piquant coleslaw.

Friendly service, great beer, full of Germans and a great meal for under 20 euros a head, go.

I sat outside on the pavement on a warm evening (as nearly everyone else did). There's a good selection of local-style food (maultaschen of course) but also some more typical German options (Sauerbraten), and also some more "international" options too.
I had a good & sizeable steak, with a decent salad and the decent beer brewed on the premises. It's also good value and I didn't leave hungry. I would return.
