We chanced on this restaurant when we went to veggie voodoo king (awesome place for vegetarian and vegan falafels). We returned in the evening to dine at this place and we were quite surprised. The service by the staff (the gentleman from Calcutta) was really good and polite.
About the food; we ordered mango lassi and pakoda for starters and they were really good. I actually ordered a second round of mango lassi soon after.
For main course, we ordered daal and another gravy along with beads. There is unlimited rice with the gravy and we loved it. Breads were soft and fluffy. For dessert we ordered kulfi and it was okay. Overall, it was quite a good experience. The prices were very reasonable by European standards. We returned next day for the lunch buffet which was again quite good and priced very cheap.
If you're going to be in the locality for a whole day, my suggestion is to alternate between this place and veggie voodoo king for lunch and dinner. Quite a nice combo!
