The hotel was super clean and in a great location. However, it was missing the basics. No shampoo or conditioner, no iron/board and no wash clothes. No room service or front desk after 8. If none of that is a concern for you, then the hotel is fine. Everyone was nice.

This is a lovely boutique hotel in a very good location. It is a pleasant walk to the main shopping and restaurant areas of Heidelberg. The rooms are very clean and well appointed. As in most places in Heidelberg parking is difficult. The hotel though does have a good arrangement with Parking station number 13 that does allow discounted parking there.

We chose to have breakfast just once at the hotel. The breakfast was good bu our preference is to get out and walk to a small cafe where possible.

The only problem was the block out curtains need to be a bit wider to fully darken the room. Would certainly stay there again.

Very happy with my choice here, wanted to be close to town but not in a tourist district. Easy walking to the river (and up the cliffs on the other side), easy walk into the tourist area. Rooms were very tastefully decorated, not too heavy or ornate.
Sort out the parking before you arrive - the hotel has a deal with one of the parking stations, but you need to find the right one - and plug the address into the GSP well before you arrive in town, otherwise you'll end up at the wrong parking station and you'll walk too far. Also - you can park outside the hotel to drop off your bags, and then head off to the garage.

We stayed back in 2008 and I can't wait to go back again. The hotel is in a great location. The room was quite large and very well appointed. The breakfast in the cellar was great. We spoke to the owner during breakfast and she was very nice and helpful. This is definately the place to stay in Heidelberg.
