I attended the Sunday morning service and was blown away by the experience! The service is protestant and in German, I am not either of those but I do follow a christian religion. They only have 1 service on Sunday mornings, the bells will ring loudly for 10 minutes before it starts to remind you. There are plenty of wooden seats, the locals sit up front which leaves many open seats in the back for others. The service is long and didn't seem welcoming of young toddlers. The church has beautiful stained glass windows that have been replaced over the years which was interesting to view. The church is fairly plain inside but understandably if you read about it's history. This church is in active use and during my stay nearby in the Spring we saw many wedding parties walking to and from the church. A beautiful church inside and out!
