A historical nugget, not really worth the time. Students were jailed for misdemeanours but it eventually became a status symbol to have spent time there.

This was very interesting spot to visit. Make sure to read the little manuscript at the top of the stairs. Crazy what kids will do.

You'd be hard pressed to find another place like this anywhere else in the world. Rich students were punished by being sent here, where they could be 'punished' without interfering in their social life. The grafittied walls are interesting, although I wonder that all the students could draw such fine silhouettes. Go and make your own judgments!

Unusual and interesting place harking backto the days of unruly aristocratic students when they were allowed to misbehave without ruining their careers

Fancy such a place existing in a university town. Hilarious really. Interesting that Mark Twain was "incarcerated" here, so I must read the short story he based his "visit" on! Heaps of graffiti by past internees. Perhaps a quick visit but nothing special, really.
