We had stayed a couple of nights here in June to check out the hotel as we'd booked to take family back in September. We arrived fairly weary expecting to be too early to check in but our rooms had already been prepared and we were given a glass of prosecco while we checked in. Our rooms were all delightful and the hotel had remembered all our requests and made every effort to meet them. Our family were delighted with their rooms and despite our description of the breakfast they were amazed and delighted . Breakfast is expensive but quite frankly given the extent of the food, the quality and the ability to produce pretty much anything (including porridge which wasnt on the menu!) it's actually good value. You really don't need lunch
Hotel was comfy and relaxing and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly - including lending us a guide book and suggesting trips out, meeting us on our return to ask if we'd enjoyed them etc. I'd highly recommend this hotel
