This hotel is really a conference center that rents empty rooms to the public so don’t expect the service of a real hotel unless you arrive during a scheduled conference. First, this is the most difficult hotel that we booked in Germany in that we had to reserve online, e-mail, and then call to finally get our reservation confirmed and completed. Second, on arrival during office hours there was nobody even there to left you in the lobby door because the office staff was sent home early because of slow business despite dozens of arriving guests. So we have to buzz every number until a janitor arrived at the door to explain that the lobby closed early and the keys and door passes were in a small box next to the door…and asked if anyone called to inform us of this fact…no. Third, the hotel does not have an elevator to the top floor so you have to carry your luggage up the extra set of stairs which made check-in even more difficult so that was our first impression. We had a good night sleep, very good breakfast the next morning, and there is very good parking at the hotel and also it is a reasonable walk to the town square so we were pleased with all of the reasons we choose this hotel. Check-out was as expected because there is someone at the front desk to make sure that you pay before leaving but not someone to help you check-in. Basically this hotel is really a conference center and I would not recommend that you stay at this hotel.
